We provide free legal advice for specific issues for low-income people in Brampton, Caledon and Dufferin County. Learn more about how we can help. We can: North Peel and Dufferin Community Legal Services provides free legal services to low-income residents of Brampton, Caledon and Dufferin County. All information you provide to us about your legal issue is confidential – whether we advise you, refer you to another location or represent you in court. The only exceptions are if we hear information that demonstrates a likelihood of significant harm to you or others, or if we receive a request from Legal Aid Ontario for financial information showing that you are qualified to provide our services. Contact us in the way that suits you best! No matter how you contact us, our customer service representatives will find out what your issues are and arrange for legal staff to contact you. You can save yourself a trip and call us for the first contact. If you come in person, we require everyone who comes to our office to wear a mask. And we`re always working with our community partners to improve laws that affect low-income people in Ontario. A Community Council is responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing our community legal clinic. We also offer legal information sessions to members of the public and other community organizations.
